Originally from Chicago, IL, Tom started training Jiu Jitsu under Carlson Gracie Black Belts Jeff Neal and Brian Bishop in 2012. After earning his blue belt in 2015, Tom moved to Texas to begin training under Dennis Thomas at Street Jitsu in Roanoke, TX. He currently holds the rank of Brown belt and is a frequent competitor in local tournaments and pro grappling fights. He is married to his wife Angela and has 3 kids. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Northern Illinois University.
